Dear Parents and Guardians,

No man should appear before the LORD empty-handed. Each of you must bring a gift in proportion to the way the LORD your God has blessed you.
Deuteronomy 16:16-17

As we enjoy a little blue sky and sunshine on a crisp fall day, we give thanks for the many blessings the Lord brings into our lives. Right now, God is presenting you with a special moment to participate and engage in your child’s education and also to help Lions Gate Christian Academy fund enhancements and improvements to the way we deliver that education. Of course, I’m speaking directly of our annual Fall Fundraiser - Harvesting Grace. If you’ve been into the school recently for parent teacher conferences, you’ve noticed the lovely bulletin board in our foyer. So many students get excited to see their family name on the bulletin board once your family makes a donation to our annual fall fundraiser. I would remind you that no matter the size of your donation, whether it’s $50 or $50,000, it is vital to helping us reach our goal of $100,000. To some people this goal may seem unimaginable. However, it is only through our amazing community realizing that the Lord blesses you for a reason and that if you’re choosing Christian education as part of your priorities, then this fall fundraiser also needs to be highly prioritized. As we reach the halfway mark, I wish I could say that we were halfway to our goal. I want to encourage each and everyone of you to seek counsel from the Lord as you do your best to determine how you can support this annual fundraiser. The importance of your role is great in this endeavor. When the Lord blesses us with much, we should also see how we can bless those around us. Thank you for seizing this opportunity to support Lions Gate Christian Academy and to be a role model for those around you as you share the blessings that God so generously shares with you. Adam Reid - Principal
