THIS FRIDAY - Semi Formal!

G11-12, Dec 8th, 7-10pm

THIS FRIDAY - Semi Formal!

Dear Parents and Students,

The annual LGCA Grade 11 & 12 Semi-Formal dance will be held this Friday evening, December 8th, from 7 – 10pm in the high school student lounge. Thank you to the Semi-Formal Committee for organizing the details of the evening.

Although there is no cost involved, the Grade 11 and 12 students are responsible for providing the refreshments. A sign-up sheet for snacks and beverages has been circulated and students have signed up to bring various items.

A photo booth will be set up for the evening, and students are invited to bring fun props. The committee is still looking for a disco ball.  If you can assist us, please let us know.

The expectations for the evening have been made clear to the students. This is a dry grad function, and students are expected to behave appropriately. Please be advised that students are not permitted to bring friends or partners from outside LGCA. The evening will be supervised by the staff, but parents are still welcome to volunteer to help chaperone by emailing me (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) by December 7th.

After the dance, all students are expected to help with the cleanup. Parents are asked not to pick up their children before 10:20pm. We hope to see all students at the party.

Sincerely,
Shelley McCullough

Fall Fund! UPDATE - Nov 30

85% of our families have participated!

Fall Fund! UPDATE - Nov 30

Quote from an LGCA Student:

When I leave this school, I will always remember the smiles and the community of this small but life changing place. I will always remember the passion, the lives of the teachers and every staff member that were poured into ours. I will always remember the incredible sportsmanship displayed by our teams. I will always remember the worship, where I learned to lift my hand in praise. I will always remember how in Lions Gate Christian Academy, it’s not about the facility, it’s about the people. It’s about acceptance and it’s all for Christ. I will never forget LGCA and look forward to the next chapter of LGCA.

WOW!!
Thank you parents! We have almost reached our goal. 100% participation will mean a $10 000 donation to our school. To date 85% of our family members have participated.
It is not too late to donate!

We are asking the remaining 15% of families to prayerfully consider sending in a donation to help us reach this goal. It is the participation that counts not the amount.

* Please see attached pledge card
* Please prayerfully consider donating to the Fall Campaign.

Thank you for all your support.
